Business Building Lunch
Men battle and compete, women collaborate and join forces.

We all know that taking a prospect or a customer to a business building lunch helps build our business and increase our sales, but there's more.

Taking prospects or customers out for lunch is one of the best ways to bond and to build substantial and profitable relationships.

Business lunches are standard, regular and important parts of all types of businesses and so are strong relationships.

Men battle and compete, women collaborate and join forces and both can be great business people. So simple, yet so important. That said, what happens when the two meet for a Montreal business lunch?

A business lunch as well as a business breakfast or coffee offers great opportunities. It enables us to learn a lot about someone and to find out what kind of person he or she is. A business lunch is also a way of showing how much we care for our customers, our relationships and our business.

Increase Lunch Business

If we wish to improve our business and to generate more sales we need to create new relationships.

The first and the easiest way to meet new prospects is to have someone to introduce us to potential customers.

But, if we don't have that someone there are other ways such as taking full advantage of networking in business and exploiting all the opportunities business networks have to offer.

Having valuable information to provide to our prospect is one way of having a reason to stop by, to be of service, to get through him or her and to book a lunch date.

And, for those of us who are somewhat audacious, showing up at an office with midmorning snacks is another way of getting to meet our prospect. If he or she is out or at a meeting, we can speak with the office staff and learn a few things.

Business Lunch Thank You

A productive goodbye is as important as the ability to build strong relationships during a business lunch.

A verbal thank you before we each go our way is always appropriate even if it didn't go as planned or if it didn't conclude the way we hoped it would. A verbal thank you to simply thank our guest for taking the time to have lunch with us.

A verbal thank you that should be followed by a written thank you note sent by email or, much preferably by post. People love to receive letters instead of just bills.

It can be a simple written thank you note to which we can add a personal note or a comment related to the conversation we had during our meal. If business questions came up during our lunch and during the time we spent with our customer, it's a good thing to follow up as soon as possible. A good follow up routine is a great way to distinguish ourselves from our competition.
