If you live in Mercier-Est in the Mercier-Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough, chances are you do some of your shopping on Hochelaga, a rather long street that crosses the whole borough.

Hochelaga, an east/west street, is located between Lakefield, one street east of George-V in Montreal-Est a reconstitued city and Fullum in the Quartier Sainte-Marie in the Ville-Marie borough. George-V separates Mercier-Est and Montréal-Est.

The part photographed here runs from Pierre-Tétreault to Honoré-Beaugrand and shows a rather large variety of residential and commercial dwellings.
