Population: A total number of 35,038 people live in the Côte de Liesse electoral district of the Saint-Laurent borough.

Young people represent 22% of the population while older people, 65 years old and over represent 16%.

Households: There are 13,585 households in the district with an average of 2.6 persons per household. Homes with one person only represent 27% of all the households.

Single-parent families represent 15% of all the families living in Côte de Liesse.

The dwellings of the district are distributed between 52% of owners and 49% of tenants.

Languages: French is spoken in 38% of the households, English in 38% and a foreign language in 24%.

Religions: 36% of the people living in the Côte de Liesse district are Roman Catholics, 21% are Jews and 9% are non-religious.

Immigrants represent 45% of the total population, 15% of which arrived in Montreal between 1996 and 2001. Morocco (11%), Lebanon (9%), and China (6%) are the first three countries of origin of the immigrants living in this Montreal borough.
